a full weekend

i am too many posts behind to go into a lot of detail.

we had a VERY full weekend.
thursday night was elijah's christmas program-
nana and grangoat drove all the way down for it, thank you!
i got it on video but CANNOT get the video to upload for some reason...ugh.
i'll keep working on that.

i helped with elijah's christmas party on friday afternoon, his last day of school.

saturday morning we helped at our church's annual CEC event
where they hand out toys and food to those that really need help this year.
they also have pictures with santa, lunch served, games, etc.
our family was in charge of a game for a few hours.
everything was going great until judah turned the lights out in the gym.
for those that don't know, it takes a while for them to come back on...oops.

then we headed straight to annalee's 4th birthday party.
indoor swimming in december...fun!!!
the boys had a blast!

sunday of course we had church, then small group at our house at 5:00.
i do have some pictures of that to come soon.

i am really proud that i displayed my christmas cards this year that i wanted to share.
it wasn't hard, i am just not good at ideas so i was proud of hanging up twine,
buying little clothes pins and hanging them on the doorway.
go me.

i also have to publicly thank tiffany for the beautiful necklace she sent me in the mail.
it says "expecting from ethiopia" and has pink beads hanging on it.
i LOVE it!!! it just made my day...thank you for that sweet and thoughtful surprise!
