fun with friends

have you ever seen a hippo climb completely out of the water at the zoo?
i hadn't until we went with a few friends on tuesday to our zoo.
they are HUGE!
poor guy was having trouble even moving
and it wasn't long until he was back in the water.

we had a lot of fun with annalee, grace, linkon, rose, lauren and zoe.
they had fun climbing on the "termite hills".

this picture cracks me up...i think because poor linkon is smashed
up against the turtle's head.

they loved the huge komodo dragon.
we have the BEST zoo and we have so enjoyed our passes this year!

here's my youngest cutie pie after school on monday with his rudolph nose
and a chocolate mouth. :-)

my mother-in-law is going to take new family pictures of us this weekend for our christmas card. i am hoping to get some great ones to post on here. have a fun weekend!
