she is so beautiful inside and out and i'm so proud of her.
i still remember her as this adorable little baby that i used to carry around on my hip.
i was 14 when she was born and she was my little buddy.
me, katherine and my sister
all the girls: me, my nieces, sister and mom
cousins,

and more cousins!!!
katherine is a very talented singer and her brother a very talented musician.
they performed a beautiful duet at her party.

this is one of my theme songs right now as we wait.
i cannot believe elijah was ever that small. he and i celebrated together this year because he turned eight ON mother's day!
he wanted an authentic harry potter wand so that's what he got!
me with my boys on mother's day.
me and the birthday boy.
nana and grangoat got both of the boys bikes for their birthdays so they had fun riding them!
he chose to go to IHOP for breakfast food on his birthday before church, and then we took him shopping with his birthday money. we love you so much elijah! you are growing into such a kind, caring young man of God and you make us proud! happy 8th birthday!
i am too tired to do a whole recap, so click HERE for a partial recap on elijah's birth day.
elijah has had a lot going on lately. his class had a recycling parade for earth day.
and a school carnival that kaki got to go to with us.
the boys in the fun climbing tree outside the school.
Since the boys' birthdays are only 3 weeks apart, we are going to have double parties as long as they will let me get away with it! :-) They chose a skating party with an Angry Bird theme this year.
I made both of the cakes all by myself this year. I was really proud of the way they turned out.
They got so many wonderful gifts - thank you everyone! Including these adorable guitar shirts handmade by my friend Ashley!
Mmmm, red icing!
The party guests.
Some of my fabulous friends that came for the party. I am so blessed!
This year's party = success. Thanks to everyone who came and made it so special!
